As many as six senior officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) have been given fresh assignments in Gujarat. They are:
- Dr S K Nanda has been appointed as Chairman & Managing Director, Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited, Vadodara
- Atanu Chakraborty will be Principal Secretary, Industries & Mines Department with holding additional charge of MD, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
- G R Aloria is given an additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Home in Gujarat.
- K N Bhatt has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer & Rehabilitation Commissioner, Sardar Sarovar Punarvasavat Agency, Vadodara.
- Dr J N Singh gets additional charge of Commissioner of Land Reforms & Ex-officio Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department in Gujarat.
- B B Swain was assigned an additional charge of MD, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation, Ahmedabad.
