Sahaj e-Village Ltd, a subsidiary of Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd, a business integrator in the field of IT infrastructure focused on rural India, has unveiled an e-tailing portal, SahajShopping.com in partnership with Ahmedabad-based e-commerce firm Infibeam. The site targets rural consumers in the country.
The rural consumers can select products from categories like mobiles, watches, books, music, etc from the portal and collect them at the nearby Sahaj Common Service Centre. These centres are already operational across the country and are part of the government’s e-governance project.
The portal would be available only to authorised Sahaj village level entrepreneurs, the company informed. As of now, the service is available across 50 Sahaj Jan Seva Kendras in Uttar Pradesh.
