Dr. Y. K. Sharma has taken charge as the Director General of National Informatics Centre (NIC). The earlier Dr. B.K. Gairola, was the earlier DG, has moved on to DeitY. He is now the Mission Director (e-Gov) DeitY (Department of Electronics and IT).
