The first electronic tender portal launched in Sri-Lanka, which will provide to access government and online tenders online. The tender portal is constructed under a joint venture between E-Procurement Technologies Pvt. Ltd and Wijeya Newspapers Limited (WNL).
The portal offer three types of services; contractors and suppliers can subscribe to it, tenders can be hosted online, end-to-end procurement solution are provided by the website from publishing of tender documents right down to the bidding and awarding. The project aims to make tender information more accessible to the world so that the government can get more competitive bids. Users can access the Online National Supplier Registry, invite bids and award bids online and trade projects online.
