The Madhya Pradesh State government has decided to establish Common Service Centers (Computer Gumti) under its e-Governance Plan.

The government has made Madhya Pradesh State Electronic s Development Corporation (MPEDC) as a State-level Nodal Agency (SLNA) for the execution of the plan. Under the e-governance scheme, every revenue division would be considered the nodal agency for selection of service centre agency as geographical unit and tenders would be invited on the basis of this unit. A common service centre would be established between every three Village Panchayats. The block would be considered as smallest geographical unit for establishment of unit in the selection procedure. These Common Service Centers will provide maximum facilities like rural telephone exchange Haat market, community health centre, high school, higher secondary school, mandi premises, agriculture department’s office and Post Offices.
