NIIT, India and DSTA, Singapore tie up for e-governance

NIIT Technologies has tied up with Singapore's Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) to develop and market e-government procurement solutions.

NIIT Technologies has tied up with Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) to develop and market e-government procurement solutions.


According to chief executive of NIIT, Singapore is regarded as a leader in implementing e-governance technology, so we decided tying-up with the leaders to provide e-government solutions to South Asian countries. As part of the contract, DSTA will be outsourcing the development and maintenance support of their government electronic business portal (GeBIZ) to NIIT, which it will market to the governments of South Asia, Middle East and Central Europe.
