Parliament Office Vienna and the Federal Chancellery win Electronic Government prize in International Speyer Quality Awards.

The seventh International Speyer Quality Award opened in March 2005. The Parliament Office Vienna and the Federal Chancellery participated with their E-Law project based on Fabasoft eGov-Suite, winning the Electronic Government quality award.

The International Speyer Quality Award was founded in 1992 by Prof. Dr. Hermann Hill and Prof. Dr. Helmut Klages at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. The objective of the competition is to promote internal and external acknowledgement of innovative developments in public administration, state and government business. The award has now become a trademark of modernisation in administration, adorning many exemplary administration systems.
