Telecom major Bharti Airtel announced the launch of its ‘airtel broadband TV’, which will allow its broadband users to watch live TV on their computers for a monthly rental of Rs 99.

The government will soon invite bids from telecom firms to provide broadband services in rural areas of the country. For this service the providers will get subsidy from the Universal Service Obligation (USO) Fund.
