Chennai (India) would be joining the elite group of 17 centres with the recently launched India’s largest e-Governance initiative by the Ministry of Company Affairs and a Mission Mode project under the Government of India’s National e-Governance plan in Tamil Nadu.
The Centre for Good Governance (CGG), India, has secured patents for Online Legal Caseload Management System (OLCMS) and Online Grievance Redressal Tracking System (OGRTS) during 2005-2006.
The e-Governance initiative to bring connectivity through out the country may result in the increase of desktop buyers in the next two years in India.
Information Technology Minister, India, Dayanidhi Maran unveiled 26 mission mode projects under the National e-Governance Plan, which would cost the Government around Rs 23,000 crore over the next five years to make its services more accessible to people electronically.
