Yahoo Mobile launched
The mobile content service of Yahoo was launched recently across eight countries, available both as an iPhone app (applications) and a mobile content site optimised for 300 devices with HTML-enabled mobile browsers. It was launched in UK, Germany, France, the US, Canada, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.

ATC to Acquire IMIL
American Tower Corp (ATC), is negotiating hard to acquire the standalone tower firm, Independent Mobile Infrastructure (IMIL). IMIL is approximately being valued at around INR 120 crore at the upper end. ATC had purchased Xcel Telecom for around Rs 800 crore nearly a year ago.
