Delhi: Krishna Mohan Uppu made Special Secretary (Home), Vivek Gogia named CP Special Cell

The Delhi administration has implemented a minor reshuffle involving senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the AGMUT cadre to enhance administrative efficiency.


In the IAS cadre:

  • Krishna Mohan Uppu, a 2009 batch officer, has been appointed as the new Special Secretary (Home).
  • Tariq Thomas, a 2001 batch officer, will now serve as Secretary (NDMC).

In the IPS cadre:

  • Vivek Gogia (1991 batch, AGMUT), formerly Special Commissioner of Police (Operations, PCR & Communication) with additional responsibility for Technology & Project Implementation, has been transferred as Special CP of the Special Cell.
  • Manish Kumar Agarwal (1996 batch, AGMUT) has been named Special CP for Operations (PCR & Communication) and will also oversee the Technology & Project Implementation Division, succeeding Gogia.
