In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Government of West Bengal appointed several IAS officers from the 2022 batch as Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) to various state departments. These appointments aim to strengthen governance and enhance departmental efficiency.
Ashutosh Kumar has been appointed OSD in the Office of the Chief Secretary of West Bengal, alongside Abhijit Ray, who will also serve as OSD under Dr. Manoj Pant. Jasleen Kaur has taken up the role of OSD in the Home and Hill Affairs Department, while Rathod Ashwin Babusingh will serve as OSD in the School Education Department.

Further appointments include Utkarsh Khandal as OSD in the Tourism Department and Vikas Ruhela as OSD in Industry, Commerce, and Enterprises. In the Panchayats & Rural Development Department, both Karmveer Keshav and Mohd. Suboor Khan has been appointed as OSD to support rural development initiatives.
