
In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the Madhya Pradesh government transferred ten IAS officers on Sunday. The realignment included key appointments and shifts across various departments, indicative of a strategic restructuring by the state administration.
The prominent changes in the bureaucratic landscape are as follows:
Sandeep Yadav Assumes Charge as Secretary cum Commissioner of Public Relations Department
IAS officer Sandeep Yadav, formerly Commissioner and Secretary of the Revenue Department, has now taken the helm as the new Secretary cum Commissioner of the Public Relations Department.

Ujjain District Collector and Municipal Commissioner Positions Witness Changes
The district collector and municipal commissioner roles in Ujjain, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s political bastion, witnessed significant alterations. Kumar Purushottam, the erstwhile Ujjain collector, has been reassigned as Deputy Secretary of the General Administration Department (GAD). Neeraj Kumar Singh, the Narmadapuram district collector, steps in as his successor.

Vivek Porwal Assumes Dual Responsibilities
Vivek Porwal, a seasoned 2000 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Public Relations Department and concurrently serves as Secretary to the Chief Minister. His new responsibilities also extend to the role of Commissioner and Secretary of the Revenue Department.

Key Appointments Across Districts
Sonia Meena takes charge as the district collector of Narmadapuram.
Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi is appointed as the Betul district collector, succeeding Amanbir Singh Bains, who assumes the role of Guna collector.
Changes in Municipal Leadership
Roshan Kumar Singh, the Ujjain Municipal Commissioner, transitions to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Smart City.
Ashish Kumar Pathak is appointed as the new civic chief of Ujjain.
Reshuffling in Jabalpur:
Swapnil Wankhede, the municipal commissioner of Jabalpur, is transferred to the position of Joint Director.
Priti Yadav, the additional collector in Ujjain, assumes the role of Jabalpur’s municipal commissioner.
