
The Government of India has issued orders to extend the central deputation tenure of Rajeev Kumar (IOFS 2000-Batch) as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet gave approval to the Centre’s request to extend Kumar’s tenure.
As per the orders issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on February 19, Kumar’s tenure has been extended for a period of two years. He is posted under the Central Staffing Scheme and his extended tenure of two years will be in effect from March 5, 2022, till March 05, 2024, or until further orders whichever is earlier.
