Centre appoints Mohd. Taj Hassan as DG, Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards

Following the orders from the Centre, Mohd Taj Hassan, a senior IPS officer of 1987-Batch was on Saturday appointed as Director-General of Fire Services, Civil Defence and Home Guards under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).


Hassan has been assigned the charge for a tenure up to his superannuation on December 31, 2023. Prior to this, he was posted as Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) in Delhi.
