Maharashtra’s Bureaucratic Rejig: 6 IAS Officers Transferred

In a recent order released, the Government of Maharashtra gave approval for a minor bureaucratic reshuffle involving the transfer of six IAS officers.


  1. Deepak Kumar Meena, CEO and Zila Parishad, Washim has been transferred and posted as Collector, Gondia.

  2. Amit Sainee, Joint Sales Tax Commissioner is to assume the charge of CEO Maritime Board.

  3. Anil Diggikar has been appointed as Special Operations Officer, Dharavi Development project.


  4. Vivek Johnson has been posted as Project Officer, ITDC Bhandara.

  5. S Ramamurthy has been appointed as Collector, Buldhana.


  6. Prashant Narnavre has been given the charge of Commissioner Social Justice, Pune
