The West Bengal state government led by Mamata Banerjee has transferred four IAS officers across the state.
Sheo Kumar Ram, 2018-Batch officer, currently Commissioner- Finance Department has been given additional charge as Director- Small Savings, West Bengal and State Registrar, Money Lenders.
Dipankar Chowdhury, 2008-Batch officer, currently Commissioner- Science, Technology and Biotechnology Department has been given additional charge as Director- Administration, West Bengal Highway Development Corporation Ltd.
N W Bhutia, 2006-Batch officer, currently Member Secretary-West Bengal Commission for Women and e.o Additional Secretary- Woman and Child Development and Social Welfare Department has been appointed as Additional Secretary- North Bengal Development Department.
Tashi Dhendup Sherpa, 2005-Batch officer, currently Additional Secretary, North Bengal Development Department has been appointed as Member Secretary- West Bengal Commission for Women and Additional Secretary -Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department.
