
The Union Government’s Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers of various cadres and batches.
As per the order issued by ACC secretariat at the ministry of personnel, public grievances and pensions, department of personnel and training, the officers who have been appointed along with their roles are given below.
Braj Raj Sharma, IAS, special secretary, department of border management has been appointed as secretary of the department of border management, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

Ruolkhumlien Buhril, IAS, secretary, inter-state council secretariat, MHA, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development. Buhril will assume office from 1 April upon superannuation of Anant Kumar Singh.

Sanjeev Ranjan has been appointed as OSD, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. He will take over the role from Yudhvir Singh Malik from 1 April, 2019, after his superannuation on 31 March. Ranjan has been serving as chairman, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Ministry of Road Transport and Highway.

Rabindra Pawar, Special Secretary and Financial Advisor, MHA, has been appointed as OSD, Ministry of Women and Child Development. He will take over the role from Rakesh Srivastava on 1 April after the latter’s superannuation on 31 March.
Bhupendra Singh has been appointed as special secretary and financial advisor, MHA. His erstwhile role was that of chairman, national authority for chemical weapons convention (NACWC), cabinet secretariat.
P Venkata Ramesh Babu, Chairman and Managing Director, Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, Ministry of Power, has been appointed as Director General, National Archives of India, Ministry of Culture.
Yaduvendra Mathur, has been appointed as special secretary of NITI Aayog by temporary upgradation of his current post of additional secretary, NITI Aayog.
Rajni Sekhri Sibal, additional secretary of MHA has been appointed as secretary general, Medical Council of India (MCI).
Rakesh Kumar Vats has been appointed as secretary general of MCI. He was earlier serving the role of additional secretary and financial advisor, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Nagendra Nath Sinha, who has been serving as Managing Director, National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), has been appointed as Chairman, NHAI, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in the rank and pay of additional secretary. Sinha will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of NHIDCL MD.
Dharmendra S Gangwar, additional secretary and financial advisor, Ministry of Culture, has been appointed as additional secretary and financial advisor, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MHFW).
