Digital India: Punjab’s village turns IT enabled

online tradeDhudike has reportedly become the first village in Punjab to come under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Digital India’ programme.

The village is the native place of Lala Lajpat Rai.

Deputy Commissioner Parminder Singh Gill inaugurated the WiFi internet service in the village.

The project has been executed by Punjab National Bank.


The bank has adopted the village.
