SBI, PayPal ink pact to facilitate cross-border transactions

SBIState Bank of India (SBI) signed an MoU with digital payments company PayPal to enable cross-border transactions.


The SBI debit card holders will be also be able to avail the facility.

SBI Managing Director and Group Executive (national banking) B Sriram said, “The MoU aims at facilitating cross-border transactions after which domestic payments would be covered.”

“SBI would also look into e-governance areas like e-visas,” he said.
