Union Minister of State for Finance, Jayant Sinha, has officially got an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
A private person, namely Siddharth Jhawar has been appointed (w.e.f. 16th December, 2014) for the same. He is in the rank of Director on contract basis for a period of five years or on co-terminus basis.

Jhawar is an IIT Delhi alumni with M.Tech in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, who has also served with Deutsche Bank Group as a Senior Analyst.
