Hindustan Aeronautics to Implement e-Procurement System

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) would implement e-Procurement and e-Payment of tenders in a time-bound manner as part of its e-Governance initiatives.

Today’s mantra is e-Governance and HAL would implement the policies of e-Procurement and e-Payment of the tenders,” Ashok Nayak ,Chairman of HAL said after Governor H R Bharadwaj launched HAL’s Vigilance Awareness Week at the Ghatge Convention Centre.

HAL had adopted the Integrity Pact, which envisages an agreement between prospective vendor, bidder and the buyer for fair practices. HAL’s Chief Vigilance Officer Anurag Sahay said the vigilance set-up in HAL was focused on preventive aspects and getting rid of bottlenecks and time delays.

Stating that proper procedures would bring greater transparency, the Governor said that India has a great history of leaders with high integrity.
