DIT Maharashtra holds IT awareness workshop

yashPune: Tech Saturday, an initiative by DIT, Maharashtra organised an IT awareness workshop  at YASHADA auditorium here  recently.

The workshop  covered various topics related to use of ICT in routine life.  Topics such as introduction to e-Governance,  Unicode, information security, cloud computing, green computing, demonstration of a Computer Based Tutor (CBT) etc were discussed in the workshop.

Participants, who were from various departments of Government of Maharashtra were apprised about the new developments in ICT in the workshop. They also got many of their doubts clarified. A small Quiz was also conducted at the end of the Workshop.


Tech Saturday has been started by DIT, Maharashtra to increase IT awareness and knowledge among government staff and higher officials and make effective use of IT-enabled systems.
