Kochi: Kerala’s Principal Secretary, Finance, V.P. Joy inaugurated the ninth international conference on e-Governance, ICEG 2012.

Speaking at the conference he underlined that technology is a tool to prevent corruption. R.K. Bagga, Chairman of Computer Society of India, presided the conference.

The conference was attended by Satheesh Babu, President, Computer Society of India, M.P. Gupta of the e-governance department, IIT-Delhi, Chandana Unnithan, School of Information System, Deakin University, Australia. 


V. Raman Nair, Director, SCMS, where the conference was held welcomed the gathering and C. Sengottuvelu, professor and head consultancy, proposed a vote of thanks.
