Telenor may stay in India and take part in spectrum auctions with new partner

Norway’s Telenor suggested that it has dropped plans to quit India and would participate in the upcoming spectrum auctions with a new partner after severing its joint venture with real-estate developer Unitech Ltd.
The company is in discussions to rope in a new partner for its telecom business in India before the government auctions the spectrum.
