Bhoomi project under Karnataka’s e-Governance programme will be extended to 800 hoblis within the next six months, Revenue Minister Jagadish Shettar told the Legislative Assembly. It provides computerised copies of land records.

Under Bhoomi, farmers can obtain copies of their land records from the 175 kiosks set up at taluk-level. The government will set up kiosks in every hobli of the state by December this year. The Minister said the provision to avail document sheets will be extended to 200 more branches of State Bank of India and State Bank of Mysore within next two months.
