The London Borough of Greenwich has commissioned an e-Enablement system for the Cleansweep environmental services provided by Greenwich Council.

The new system has been designed and developed by Ebase Technology in close collaboration with the Council's environmental services call centre and Cleansweep's Project Manager, Steve Beecroft. Front-ended by electronic forms, the new system will, over time, provide Greenwich Council with a completely integrated and automated workflow solution from the initial logging of a service request or problem to the closing of the job and the production of comprehensive management reports. Cleansweep, the name given to Greenwich Council's environmental services, handles some of the most important (and certainly most visible) activities within the Borough, including blocked drains, refuse collection, pavement and road cleaning, and the recovery of abandoned vehicles.
