Slovenia Launches e-Democracy Service

Slovenian Government has come up with an e-Democracy service that offer people the opportunity to influence changes in the existing legislation, by contributing their suggestions, comments and opinions.

Slovenian Government has come up with an e-Democracy service that offer people the opportunity to influence changes in the existing legislation, by contributing their suggestions, comments and opinions. The service given under National Government portal 'e-Uprava' stand to allow the citizens to follow closely the preparation and adoption of regulations and take part in the elimination of administrative hassles.

The service also offers a direct link to elected representatives and also help in fostering a better communication between citizens and administration, thereby, increasing efficiency in democratic process.

The e-Democracy service has four different elements which include eliminating administrative barriers, contacting elected representative, democratic processes, legislation, legal rules in the EU, public information or elections.
