Greater Noida: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida on September 25, alongside Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The five-day trade show, being held from September 25 to 29, brings together manufacturers, exporters, MSMEs, artisans, startups, investors and international buyers on a common platform. The 2026 edition features more than 2,400 exhibitors, with over 600 international buyers from around 90 countries participating in the event.
During the inauguration, Shah highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturing base, agricultural strength, traditional industries, infrastructure and expanding connectivity as key elements of its economic development. He also described UPITS as a platform for trade, investment, technology exchange, branding and business engagement.
The event has an international focus, with Japan, Vietnam, Russia, Singapore, Austria and Belarus participating as partner countries. Delegations from these countries are engaging with Uttar Pradesh-based businesses and exhibitors during the five-day programme.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the role of MSMEs, manufacturing and exports in the state’s economic development. According to the UPITS organisers, Uttar Pradesh’s exports have reached approximately ₹2 lakh crore, while the state has more than one crore MSME units.
A key feature of this year’s edition is the One District, One Cuisine (ODOC) initiative. The Chief Minister launched the ODOC portal during the event, bringing the state’s district-specific culinary products and food heritage into the wider marketplace.

The exhibition covers a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, automobiles and EVs, defence, electronics and IT, food processing, textiles and handicrafts, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, tourism, renewable energy, logistics, education, financial services and emerging technologies.
UPITS 2026 is jointly organised by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and India Exposition Mart Ltd. The organisers have positioned the trade show as a platform to connect local enterprises with domestic and international markets while facilitating business partnerships, investment and export opportunities.
