The Haryana Government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, giving new assignments to 17 IAS officers across several key departments and field-level positions.
The changes cover important areas including youth empowerment, finance, human resources, transport, health, urban development, culture and civil administration. Several officers have also been given additional responsibilities alongside their existing charges.
G Anupama Gets Additional Charge of Youth Empowerment
G Anupama (IAS: 1991) has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department, while continuing her existing responsibilities as Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of SCs and BCs and Antyodaya, and Additional Chief Secretary, Civil Aviation.
C G Rajini Kaanthan has been assigned charge as Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department, along with responsibilities as Secretary, Central Committee of Examinations, and Commissioner and Secretary, Haryana Medical Education and Research Department.
Key Departmental Assignments
KM Pandurang (IAS: 2007) has been posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department, Commissioner and Secretary, Mines and Geology Department, and CEO, Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority.
Dusmanta Kumar Behera (IAS: 2007) has been appointed Commissioner and Secretary, Haryana Human Resources Department, along with the charge of Commissioner and Secretary, General Administration Department.
Rajiv Rattan (IAS: 2008) has been assigned as Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs, Inquiry Officer, Vigilance, and Director General, Supplies and Disposals.
Pankaj has been posted as Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission, along with the charge of Managing Director, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited.
Prabhjot Singh has been appointed Transport Commissioner and Secretary, Transport Department, while continuing as Director General, Environment, and Secretary, Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department.
Changes in Field and Urban Administration
Hema Sharma (IAS: 2010) has been transferred as Commissioner, Karnal Division.
Dr Aditya Dahiya has been given charge as Director, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, Special Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department, Director, Art and Cultural Affairs, Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, and Director, Department of Future.
Yashendra Singh has been posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, and CEO, Faridabad Smart City Limited.

Dhirendra Khadgata has been assigned as Director, Medical Education and Research, Special Secretary, Medical Education and Research, and Director, State Transport.
Pradeep Dahiya has been posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Gurugram, and District Municipal Commissioner, Gurugram.
Additional Responsibility for Ambala Deputy Commissioner
Sachin Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, will also hold the additional charge of Additional Controller, Civil Defence, Ambala.
Reshuffle Covers Key Governance Areas
The latest changes bring new administrative responsibilities across Haryana’s departments and major urban centres. The reshuffle also places experienced officers in areas such as finance, health, transport, urban administration, public relations, youth empowerment and infrastructure.
With several officers taking on multiple responsibilities, the changes are expected to ensure continuity in administration while strengthening coordination across key departments and field-level institutions.
