The Madhya Pradesh government on Sunday carried out a minor reshuffle in the state police administration, transferring three IPS officers and assigning them to new responsibilities across important police units and districts.

According to an official notification issued by the Home Department, the reshuffle includes postings at the Police Headquarters in Bhopal, Special Armed Force (SAF) units and district-level policing in Burhanpur.

Among the key appointments, Ashutosh Bagri, a 2015-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police of Burhanpur district. He was earlier serving as Commandant of the 17th Battalion SAF in Bhind.

Senior IPS officer Ravnesh Sagar, a 2010-batch officer, has been transferred from his post as Deputy Inspector General and Commandant of the 2nd Battalion SAF, Gwalior, and posted as DIG at the Police Headquarters in Bhopal.

Meanwhile, Vidita Dagar, a 2021-batch IPS officer, has been posted as Commandant of the 2nd Battalion SAF in Gwalior. She was previously serving as Additional Superintendent of Police in Gwalior.

Officials said the reshuffle is part of routine administrative changes aimed at strengthening policing and improving operational coordination within the state police force.
