In a fresh administrative reshuffle, the Haryana government has transferred 15 IAS officers, bringing notable changes across key departments and districts. The move, led by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, comes just weeks after some of these officers were given important postings, making the reshuffle particularly significant.
Among the major changes, Vineet Garg, who was serving as Chairman of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Printing and Stationery. Pankaj Agarwal has been moved from Irrigation and Mines & Geology to take charge as Principal Secretary, Architecture.
Dusmanta Kumar Behera, who was serving as Secretary to the Governor and Labour Commissioner, has now been posted as Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management. In another key shift, Saket Kumar has been reassigned as Commissioner & Secretary, Archives, moving from multiple important roles including Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Several officers have also been given additional responsibilities. Anurag Agarwal, ACS Town and Country Planning, will now also handle Irrigation and serve as Advisor to the Haryana Saraswati Heritage Board. Vijayendra Kumar, ACS Agriculture, has been given additional charge of the Development and Panchayats Department.
Rajeev Ranjan, Principal Secretary Labour, will now also oversee Cooperation, while J Ganesan has been given additional responsibilities, including Chairman of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board and Public Health Engineering. Transport commissioner Atul Kumar was given the additional charge of commissioner and secretary finance-1.
At the district level, key changes include Ajay Kumar, Gurugram Deputy Commissioner, being appointed as Deputy Principal Secretary-II to the Chief Minister. Uttam Singh moves from Karnal to take charge as Gurugram DC, while Anand Kumar Sharma has been posted as Karnal DC.
Further, Mani Ram Sharma has been appointed Secretary, Health, and Aditya Dahiya has been given additional charge as Managing Director of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited.

This reshuffle reflects the government’s effort to realign administrative responsibilities and bring fresh energy into governance. While such changes are part of routine administration, the quick reassignment of recently posted officers highlights a dynamic approach to managing key roles.
