Madhya Pradesh Unveils ‘Prosperous MP @ 2047’ Vision Document on Foundation Day

The government of Madhya Pradesh is set to unveil the “Prosperous MP @ 2047” vision document as part of its Foundation Day celebrations on November 1, 2025. The document outlines a comprehensive roadmap aimed at transforming the state into a developed region by the year 2047.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the document will detail strategies across key sectors, including industry, agriculture, infrastructure, services, health, education, and governance. The roadmap sets ambitious economic goals: raising the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) from about ₹15 lakh crore to ₹250 lakh crore and increasing per-capita income from around ₹1.6 lakh to ₹22 lakh by 2047.

To commemorate the occasion, the state government has planned a series of events across districts, including cultural programmes, exhibitions showcasing government initiatives, and citizen engagement drives. These celebrations aim to highlight Madhya Pradesh’s journey from a primarily agrarian economy to one of India’s leading states in manufacturing, renewable energy, and tourism.

The release of the “Prosperous MP @ 2047” document is expected to guide future development initiatives, aligning the state’s growth trajectory with the national vision of a “Viksit Bharat @ 2047.”
