The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 10 new real estate projects across five districts, paving the way for investments of approximately ₹1,412.55 crore. The projects will add 1,632 residential and commercial units and are expected to give a fresh boost to urban development, construction activity and employment in the state.
The approvals were granted during the 207th meeting of UP RERA, chaired by Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy.
Projects Spread Across Five Districts
The newly approved projects are located in Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Moradabad, covering residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

Officials said the projects are expected to improve planned urban infrastructure while meeting the growing demand for housing and commercial spaces in different parts of the state.
Ghaziabad Attracts Highest Investment
Ghaziabad emerged as the biggest investment destination among the approved projects.
Two projects—one residential and one commercial—received approval with a combined investment of nearly ₹957.20 crore. Together, these developments will create 625 residential and commercial units, making Ghaziabad the leading district in terms of investment value.
Gautam Buddh Nagar Leads in Commercial Units
While Ghaziabad topped the investment chart, Gautam Buddh Nagar recorded the highest number of approved units.
Three commercial projects worth ₹281.64 crore have been cleared in the district, which will together add 680 commercial units. The approvals are expected to further strengthen the district’s position as a major commercial and business hub.
New Projects for Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Moradabad
Lucknow received approval for three projects, including two residential developments and one commercial project. These projects involve an estimated investment of ₹26.57 crore and will create 215 residential and commercial units.
In Gorakhpur, UP RERA approved a mixed-use project worth ₹144.09 crore, which will comprise 69 units.
Meanwhile, Moradabad received approval for a residential project with an estimated investment of ₹3.05 crore, adding 43 housing units to the city’s residential inventory.
Boost to Urban Development and Employment
According to UP RERA, the approved projects are expected to contribute significantly to planned urban growth while generating employment opportunities during construction and project execution.
The developments are also likely to stimulate demand in allied sectors such as construction materials, transportation, engineering services and related industries, creating a positive economic impact across the project locations.
UP RERA Focuses on Transparency
UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy said the authority remains committed to promoting transparency, accountability and timely execution of real estate projects across the state.
He noted that quicker approvals, coupled with effective project monitoring, are helping create a more reliable environment for both developers and homebuyers.
The authority will continue to enforce the provisions of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act while ensuring consumer interests are protected and the real estate sector grows in a balanced and orderly manner.
Strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s Real Estate Sector
The approval of projects worth over ₹1,412 crore reflects continued momentum in Uttar Pradesh’s real estate market.
With fresh investments, new residential and commercial developments and a focus on regulatory compliance, the projects are expected to support infrastructure expansion, strengthen investor confidence and contribute to the state’s long-term urban development goals.
