Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has appointed Vikram Yadav as Group General Manager (Procurement and Tendering), with effect from February 2, 2026, as part of a move to strengthen its senior management.

The appointment was disclosed to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India in compliance with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations. IRCTC said the intimation was made for regulatory compliance and record purposes.
Yadav will serve at a level one below the Board and has joined the corporation on standard deputation terms. In his new role, he will oversee IRCTC’s procurement and tendering functions, with a focus on ensuring transparency, efficiency, and timely execution.

A 1998-batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), Yadav brings more than 25 years of experience in Indian Railways. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as Chief Electrical Service Engineer (CESE) at Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW).

IRCTC said Yadav’s background in railway operations, administration, and project management is expected to add depth to its procurement processes and support the corporation’s broader operational and governance objectives.
