Meta has named Aman Jain as its next head of public policy for India, with the appointment announced on December 11, 2025. He is expected to take charge early next year and will report to Simon Milner, Meta’s vice president of policy for the Asia-Pacific region. Jain will also join the company’s India leadership team.
Jain has more than 20 years of experience spanning public policy, government engagement and business strategy. Over the course of his career, he has worked with companies such as Amazon and Google, in addition to assignments with the Government of India and international organisations.

During his tenure at Google India, Jain held multiple senior roles, including leading government affairs and public policy for the country. Before this appointment, he was director of public policy at Amazon, where he handled policy matters linked to the company’s marketplace, operations, competition and technology areas.
Meta said Jain will be responsible for steering its policy approach and external engagement in India, one of its largest user markets. Milner said Jain’s understanding of policy and technology would help the company engage with regulators and industry bodies as India’s digital economy continues to expand across areas including artificial intelligence, emerging technologies and the creator economy.
