In a significant series of bureaucratic developments issued on Friday, multiple senior officers have been assigned additional charges, new appointments, and deputation postings across various union ministries and organisations.
Punya Salila Srivastava (IAS: 1993: AGMUT), Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Ayush from 15.11.2025 to 23.11.2025 during the leave period of Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha.
Nikunja Bihari Dhal (IAS: 1993: OR), Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice, from 17.11.2025 to 30.11.2025 in the absence of Niraj Verma (IAS: 1994: AM).
V Srinivas (IAS: 1989: RJ), Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Department of Pensions & Pensioners Welfare, has been repatriated to his parent cadre at the request of the Government of Rajasthan.
Rachna Shah (IAS: 1991: KL), Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, has been entrusted with additional charge of Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Department of Pensions & Pensioners Welfare following the repatriation of the incumbent officer.
Amit Kumar (IDAS: 2014) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Steel for a tenure of four years.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has also assigned the additional charge of Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat, to Parag Jain (IPS: PB: 1989), who currently serves as Secretary, Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW). He will continue in this role until a regular appointment is made or until further orders.
Three officers have been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Defence for four-year tenures:
– Pawan Kumar (IA&AS: 2014)
– Rahul Raja (IRS C&IT: 2014)
– Vikas Khera (IRTS: 2014)
Puneet Bijaraniya (IPoS: 2013) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) under the Department of Personnel & Training for four years.
Vikas Raizada (IOFS: 2012) has been appointed as Deputy General Manager (Deputy Secretary level) in TRIFED at Chandigarh for a combined four-year tenure.
Monika (ISS: 2015) has been appointed as Senior Manager in TRIFED, Jaipur (Rajasthan Region), for a four-year deputation under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
Abhilasha Jha Mishra (IRAS: 2000), Member Secretary (JS level), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), has been prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre on personal grounds.
Shalini (IPS: 2011: UP) has been inducted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for five years.
