Infosys announced a new artificial intelligence (AI)-first Global Capability Centre (GCC) model designed to help enterprises build and modernise GCCs into fully AI-enabled operational hubs. The initiative, detailed in a BSE filing, aims to support organisations through a comprehensive framework covering strategy, entity formation, recruitment, operational readiness, and scalable talent architectures. The company noted that the model is tailored for businesses grappling with challenges in expanding or upgrading their GCC operations.
According to Satish HC, Executive Vice President and Chief Delivery Officer at Infosys, the company’s AI-centric approach, combined with its lifecycle capabilities and global delivery expertise, uniquely positions it to enable clients to unlock new value. The dedicated GCC practice is expected to deliver the speed, scale, and strategic depth required for the next phase of enterprise transformation.
