The Government of India has issued notifications regarding several appointments, tenure extensions, and additional charges across ministries and departments.

Key Officers transferred:

• Raghvendra Singh (IA&AS: 2013) — Appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce for a tenure up to 14 March 2028 (combined tenure of four years).

• Alok Malviya (IRS IT: 2006) — Tenure as Director in the Department of Commerce extended by one year up to 12 October 2026. On central deputation since 13 October 2020.

• Nalina Sofia T (IRS C&IT: 2010) — Appointed as Director in NITI Aayog for a period of five years.

• K R S Krishnam Naidu (IRS IT: 2015) — Appointed as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications, Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, in the Ministry of Rural Development at the level of Deputy Secretary, for a tenure up to 20 November 2027.

• Nitin Kumar Yadav (IAS: 2000: HY) — Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, entrusted with ex-post facto additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation, from 25 October 2025 until assumption of charge by Neeraj Kharwal (IAS: 2007: UK).

• Anil Kumar — Chief General Manager, National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC), given additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (JS level), NDFDC, for six months from 12 September 2025 to 11 March 2026.

• Richa Verma (IAS: 2012: HP) — Appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education for a period of four years.

• Shreyansh Mohan (IRS C&IT: 2015) — Appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education under the Central Staffing Scheme for four years.

• Sudhansh Pant (IAS: 1991: RJ) — Appointed as Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, succeeding Amit Yadav (IAS: 1991: AGMUT) upon his superannuation on 30 November 2025.

• Kunal Kashyap (IRS C&CE: 2008) — Tenure as Commissioner (Housing), Delhi Development Authority, extended by two years up to 8 November 2027. On central deputation since 9 November 2020.

• M Angamuthu (IAS: 2002: AM) — Chairperson, Mumbai Port Authority, given additional charge of Chairperson (JS level), Visakhapatnam Port Authority, for six months from 22 September 2025 to 21 March 2026.

• Katarpu Sunil Emmanuel (IPS: 2003: UP) — Empanelled for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre.

• Vinay Sheel Gautam (IRS IT: 2009) — Appointed as Director in the Ministry of Cooperation for a period of five years.

• Bhupinder Kumar (IAS: 2011: AGMUT) — Appointed as Director in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for five years.

• Debashree Mukherjee (IAS: 1991: AGMUT) — Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, entrusted with additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, from 8 November to 16 November 2025 during the leave of Subhas Chandra Lal Das (IAS: 1992: AGMUT).

• Vineet Joshi (IAS: 1992: MN) — Secretary, Department of Higher Education, given additional charge of Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, from 8 November to 16 November 2025 during the leave of Sanjay Kumar (IAS: 1990: BH).

• Yuvraj Pal Singh (IRS IT: 2015) — Appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change for four years.

• Amit Sharma (IAS: 2012: AGMUT) — Appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration (Deputy Secretary level) for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh up to 31 December 2025.

• Karan Thapar (IRS C&CE: 2009) — Tenure as Director in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade extended by one year beyond 16 February 2026, up to 16 February 2027. On central deputation since 17 February 2020.

• V Hekali Zhimomi (IAS: 1996: UP) — Additional Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, repatriated to her parent cadre on the request of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

• Kuldeep Dwivedi (IPS: 2005: JH) — Tenure as Joint Director, CBI, extended for two years beyond 17 January 2026, bringing total tenure to seven years.
