UP Govt Transfers Eight IPS Officers; Arvind Mishra made SP EoW, Lucknow

The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has ordered the transfer of eight Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, effecting changes in key districts and important units. The Home Department issued the notification on Saturday, highlighting a fresh round of administrative reshuffling.

According to the orders:

  • Ram Sewak Gautam (IPS, 2013 batch), SP Shamli → SP PTS Moradabad

  • Arvind Mishra (IPS, 2015 batch), SP Kanpur Dehat → SP, Economic Offences Wing (EoW), Lucknow

  • Ghanshyam (IPS, 2015 batch), SP Shravasti → SP Security Headquarters, Lucknow

  • Shraddha Narendra Pandey (IPS, 2017 batch), Commandant, 38th Battalion PAC, Aligarh → SP Kanpur Dehat

  • Rahul Bhati (IPS, 2018 batch), SSP Lucknow → SP Shravasti

  • Dr. Pravin Ranjan Singh (IPS), DCP/ADCP, Police Commissionerate, Gautam Buddh Nagar → DCP, Police Commissionerate, Gautam Buddh Nagar (lateral transfer)
