The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a series of high-level bureaucratic appointments and repatriations, officially notified on Thursday and Friday. These strategic decisions span across key ministries and departments:

Key updates include:

  • Sindhu B Rupesh (IAS: 2011: Karnataka) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Space, Bengaluru, for a tenure of five years.

  • Alok Ranjan Ghosh (IAS: 2011: Bihar) has been posted as Director in the Department of Personnel & Training till February 2, 2030.

  • Abhijit Sinha (IAS: 2000: Nagaland), currently Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been repatriated to his parent cadre at the request of the Government of Nagaland.

  • Manoj Govil (IAS: 1991: Madhya Pradesh), Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat, has been given additional charge of Secretary (Security) in the same department following the superannuation of Harinath Mishra (IPS: 1990: Kerala) on July 31, 2025.

  • Ajay Kumar Jaiswal (IRSME: 2008) has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL), Singrauli under the Ministry of Coal for a period of three years.

  • On Friday, Manisha Sinha (IPoS: 1992) was appointed as Member (Financial Services), Postal Services Board, Ministry of Communications.
