5 IAS transferred in Madhya Pradesh; Abhilash Mishra appointed Municipal Commissioner, Ujjain

In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh Government, through the General Administration Department (GAD), has announced new postings and role changes for eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The update involves fresh appointments, reassignment of duties, and revocation of additional charges for some officials.

  • Manish Singh, a senior IAS officer awaiting posting, has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department. He will also hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare Department.

  • G.V. Rashmi, also awaiting posting, has been assigned the role of Secretary, Women and Child Development Department.

  • Anurag Saxena, currently Managing Director of MP Seed and Farm Development Corporation and holding additional charge as Deputy Secretary, Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department, has been posted as Additional Managing Director, MP State Agricultural Marketing Board, Bhopal.

  • Abhilash Mishra, formerly Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Indore, has been appointed Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ujjain.
