In a significant administrative development, the Chhattisgarh government has issued transfer and promotion orders for nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, marking a notable reshuffle in the state’s policing leadership. The official list of transfers was released late Wednesday evening, reflecting strategic realignments aimed at strengthening law enforcement across districts and specialised units.
Prabhat Kumar, SP of Narayanpur, has been transferred to Police Headquarters, Nava Raipur. In a key promotion, ASP Robinson Guria, who was serving in Narayanpur, takes over as the new SP of the district.
