In a significant administrative development, the Chhattisgarh government has issued transfer and promotion orders for nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, marking a notable reshuffle in the state’s policing leadership. The official list of transfers was released late Wednesday evening, reflecting strategic realignments aimed at strengthening law enforcement across districts and specialised units.

Prabhat Kumar, SP of Narayanpur, has been transferred to Police Headquarters, Nava Raipur. In a key promotion, ASP Robinson Guria, who was serving in Narayanpur, takes over as the new SP of the district.

Key Transfers and New Appointments:

• Prabhat Kumar: Transferred from SP Narayanpur to SP, Police Headquarters Nava Raipur.

• Vikas Kumar: Promoted from AIG to SP, PHQ Nava Raipur (Special Intelligence Branch).

• Pooja Kumar: Former Additional SP, Dantewada, appointed as SP (Radio), Bilaspur.

• Mayank Gurjar: Ex-Additional SP, Bijapur, now Commander, 15th Battalion, CAF, Bijapur.

• Sandeep Kumar Patel: From Additional SP, Bhanupratappur to Commander, 16th Battalion, CAF, Narayanpur.

• Rajanla Smritik: From ASP, Dantewada to SP, STF, Baghera (Durg).

• Robinson Guria: Promoted from ASP to SP, Narayanpur.
