In a significant step toward integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with clean energy, Sustainability Economics and Gujarat Power Corporation Limited (GPCL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to harness the potential of AI infrastructure while ensuring a sustainable, clean energy-powered future.

Sustainability Economics, an international leader in AI advancement, is headquartered in Singapore and the United States, with a major development centre in Bengaluru, India. The company plays a crucial role in developing AI solutions, including AI cloud parks, infrastructure services, and sector-specific AI applications. GPCL, a government-owned entity in Gujarat, has been at the forefront of renewable energy development, spearheading multiple renewable energy initiatives across the state.

Under the MoU, Sustainability Economics and GPCL will work together to develop AI cloud parks co-located with existing and upcoming clean energy parks. The initiative seeks to optimize the energy mix to ensure efficient, scalable, and cost-effective clean energy solutions for AI infrastructure.

The partnership will also explore advancements in green hydrogen, offshore wind energy, and energy storage solutions. Moreover, comprehensive feasibility studies will be conducted to optimize and secure low-cost capital for GPCL’s renewable energy projects, ensuring their long-term sustainability.
