The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has announced three critical vacancies in top leadership roles across prominent public sector undertakings.

On December 6, 2024, PESB advertised the Chairman & Managing Director position at North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), a Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). The post became vacant on December 6, 2024. Applications from eligible candidates meeting the prescribed criteria must be submitted by January 3, 2025.

Simultaneously, PESB has invited applications for the Director (Technical) position at NEEPCO. The position will become vacant on August 1, 2025, following Ranendra Sarma’s superannuation. Interested and eligible professionals can apply by January 3, 2025.

Additionally, REC Limited has announced the vacancy for a Director (Projects). The post will become available on July 1, 2025, after Vijay Kumar Singh’s tenure is completed. Eligible candidates can apply until December 31, 2024. The appointment will be for a tenure of five years or until superannuation, whichever comes earlier.
