In a strategic move ahead of the February 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) has reshuffled five senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.

Details of Key Appointments:

• Bipul Pathak (IAS: 1992: AGMUT): Appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) for Industries. He will also serve as the Chairman of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) and Managing Director of the Delhi Khadi & Village Industries Board (DKVIB).
• Sanjiv Kumar (IAS: 1992: AGMUT): Posted as ACS-cum-Commissioner for Food and Civil Supply. Additionally, he takes on roles as Chairman of the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) and Chief Managing Director (CMD) of the Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation (DSCSC).
• A Anbarasu (IAS: 1996: AGMUT): Retains his position as Principal Secretary for Home and the Public Works Department (PWD) while being assigned additional charge as Principal Secretary for Information and Publicity.
• Nandini Paliwal (IAS: 2003: AGMUT): Appointed as Secretary for Higher Education & Training and Technical Education. She also takes on the role of Managing Director for the Delhi Co-operative Housing Finance Corporation (DCHFC).
• Kumar Abhishek (IAS: 2016: AGMUT): Continues as Director for Higher Education and Training & Technical Education (TTE) while assuming additional responsibilities as General Manager for the Delhi Consumer’s Co-operative Wholesale Store (DCCWS) and the Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation (DSCSC).
