In a major administrative reshuffle, the Haryana government has transferred 27 IAS officers across various districts and departments. The changes, announced by the Chief Secretary’s office, include the transfer of Ajay Kumar, a 2013 batch IAS officer, who will be now serving as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Gurgaon, replacing Nishant Kumar Yadav. Nishant Yadav has been named as the new DC of Chandigarh.

In other key appointments, Dhirendra Khadgata (2012 batch) has been designated as the DC of Rohtak. Additional DCs assigned include Pradeep Dahiya (Jhajjar), Munish Sharma (Charkhi Dadri), Anish Yadav (Hisar), Monika Gupta (Panchkula), Prashant Panwar (Nuh), Preeti (Kaithal), Neha Singh (Kurukshetra), and Vivek Bharti (Mahendragarh).

The reshuffle also includes senior appointments within various departments. CG Rajni Kaanthan (2004 batch) is now Secretary in the Finance Department, Yash Garg takes on the role of Director of Industries and Commerce, and Ashok Kumar Garg assumes the position of Commissioner of Gurgaon Municipal Corporation. Rajesh Jogpal has been appointed as Registrar of Cooperative Societies.

In municipal postings, Dharmender Kumar (2012 batch) will serve as the Commissioner of Rohtak Municipal Corporation, while Ram Kumar Singh takes on the role of Special Secretary in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department. Other prominent transfers include Shakti Singh as MD of the Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills, Rahul Narwal as MD of CONFED, and Brahmjeet Singh Rangi as Commissioner of Panipat Municipal Corporation.


Further appointments in municipal roles include Vaishali Sharma as Commissioner of Karnal Municipal Corporation, Sachin Gupta as ADC of Ambala, Aparajita (2018 batch) as ADC of Panchkula and Commissioner of Panchkula Municipal Corporation, and Vaishali Singh (2019 batch) as Administrator of Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran in Gurgaon. Niraj, Anand Kumar Sharma, and Renu Sogan have been appointed as Commissioners of Hisar, Mahendragarh, and Manesar Municipal Corporations, respectively.
