The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of temporary upgradation for nine senior civil servants, maintaining their roles at the rank of Additional Secretary. This move ensures continuity and enhanced contributions across significant ministries and departments.

Details of the extended tenures are as follows:

• Roli Singh (IAS, 1994, Rajasthan) will continue as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, upgraded to Additional Secretary until December 26, 2025.
• Varsha Joshi (IAS, 1995, AGMUT) retains her upgraded post as Joint Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying until July 26, 2025.
• Suman Billa (IAS, 1996, Kerala) continues in the Ministry of Tourism, upgraded until December 5, 2025.
• Manoj Kumar Dwivedi (IAS, 1997, AGMUT) extends his role in the Department of Personnel & Training until November 18, 2025.
• Ashish Vachhani (IAS, 1997, Tamil Nadu) will remain upgraded in the Department of Economic Affairs until November 20, 2025.
• Rakesh Gupta (IAS, 1997, Haryana) stays in his role at the President’s Secretariat until November 18, 2025.
• Rohit Kumar (IAS, 1997, Rajasthan) continues in the Cabinet Secretariat until September 24, 2025.
• Trishaljit Sethi (IPoS, 1990) remains Director General (Training), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, until September 1, 2025.
• Vismita Tej (IRS IT, 1990) will stay upgraded in the Ministry of Coal until September 23, 2025.
