Appointments (GoI): Pankaj Agrawal made Secretary MoRTH, Check List

Pankaj Agrawal, Union Power Secretary (IAS: 1992: MP), has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), following Anurag Jain’s (IAS: 1989: MP) exit. Jain has taken on the role of Chief Secretary, Madhya Pradesh.


Meanwhile, Anurag Jain (IAS: 1989: MP), Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, was repatriated to his parent cadre (MP) at the request of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Kalyani Sethuraman (IRAS: 1994), Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL), Bengaluru, will also take on additional responsibility as CVO of Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. (BEML), Bengaluru, for a three-month period.

Davuluri Shravan (IPS: 2008: CH) has been inducted as Deputy Inspector General with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on a deputation basis for five years, while Sonawane Rishikesh Bhagwan (IPS: 2015: KT) has joined the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as Superintendent of Police, also for five years.


Pankaj Kumar Bansal (IAS: 1997: TN), Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, has been given additional charge as Managing Director of the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED) for three months.

Venkat Sathya Kanesh Goli, a private individual, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Union Minister for Coal & Mines, G Kishan Reddy, at the level of Deputy Secretary for four years.
