The Chhattisgarh government has carried out a significant reshuffle in its administrative cadre, transferring 11 IAS officers to new positions. Among the key appointments, S. Jayavardhan has been named the new Collector of Surajpur, while Kumar Bishwranjan, CEO of Dantewada District Panchayat, has been reassigned to the Ministry as Deputy Secretary, with SDM Jayant Nahta taking his place.

In another notable move, Jashpur Collector Ravi Mittal has been appointed as Commissioner of the Public Relations Department, with additional responsibilities as CEO of Samvad and Project Director of the Chirag Project. The current Public Relations Commissioner, Mayank Srivastava, will move to the Home Department.

The reshuffle also includes the replacement of Surajpur Collector Rohit Vyas, now the Collector of Jashpur. His transfer follows the replacement of both the Collector and Superintendent of Police in Surajpur after a double murder incident.

Additionally, Tulika Prajapati, Director of Women and Child Development, will become the new Collector of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, replacing S. Jayavardhan. Other major changes include Janmejaya Mahobe taking on additional charge as Director of Women and Child Development, while Jagdish Sonkar, Managing Director of the National Health Mission, has been reassigned to the Ministry.

Further, Vijay Dayaram K., CEO of the State Skill Development Agency, has been given additional responsibilities as Managing Director of the National Rural Health Mission. Pratishtha Mamgai, Commissioner of Korba Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as CEO of Bastar District Panchayat.
